About Star

Star White, former flower child, studied English in college and has worked as an artist for much of her professional life. She was witness to the unique changes of the baby boomer generation and has a lot of stories to tell. In fact, here they are! Well,  just the ones that can be told in polite company.

deep introspection and overt action. We asked questions with hidden meaning like "Are You Experienced?" and listened to profound songs like "In a Gadda Da Vida". I never quite figured that one out.

It was a time of great change for women. We were no longer resigned to being second-class citizens. Girls were so sweet in the fifties and early sixties, but by mid-decade, the tiger was out of the cage. I was one of those girls.

Star lives in Connecticut with her two feline friends Betty and Barry White. When not under the thrall of flashbacks she enjoys dabbling in the culinary arts, playing in her garden, and painting animal portraits.
